Our company
In 1974 Klaus Heinen founded the company Transport Klaus Heinen. As the owner, he drove in the regional area for a fixed clientele of small cheese dairies. In 1992 his son Roger joined the company and the fleet was extended by one lorry. With this a foundation stone was laid for the success and ongoing expansion.
Over the years more and more of the smaller cheese dairies vanished from the scene and, in the course of the globalisation of the large dairy groups, the company also grew.
In 2000 Roger and Astrid Heinen took over the parents’ business with four lorries. After the fleet had already increased to 8 lorries by the end of 2006, the time had come to change from private ownership into a public limited company. On 1 May 2007 Transport Roger Heinen AG was founded.
In 2013, because of the central position of Luxembourg in Europe, the “RHT” branch was set up with its registered office in Weiswampach, Luxembourg, from where Materials Planning, Administration and the fleet ensure satisfied customers. Our fleet has now increased to 40 units in total because of the growing volume of transportation. In 2013 ASRO-Clean AG was also set up as an independent company. An idea led to one of the most modern tank cleaning plants that the market currently has to offer.
SITES
Since July 2010 our Belgian branch, Transport Roger Heinen AG, abbreviated to TRH, has been located at Textilstraße 13, Eupen. That is where our lorries are maintained and looked after. Our office premises with their prestigious ambience are equipped with the latest communications technology and guarantee perfect management and constant contact with our drivers. So we are in a position to respond immediately to our customers’ demands or requirements. The central position of Eupen in the angle between the three countries of Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands and also Luxembourg, which is very close and where we set up “RHT”, the Luxembourg branch in Weiswampach at the end of 2013, make a perfect duo for satisfying all our customers’ requirements in the shortest possible time. The ASRO Clean tank cleaning plant is located right next to our Belgian branch at Textilstraße 15, Eupen, Belgium.
